We will discuss the importance of ants and cockroaches, and briefly cover their biology, different species and the problems they can cause, then we will focus on management strategies against ants and cockroaches.

Dr. Lucy Li

Dr. Lucy Li is currently an Associate in Extension of Public Health IPM, Department of Entomology for the University of Arizona. She has a Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in insect molecular biology, but most of her work has been in the area of IPM Extension and outreach. Lucy is currently involved in translational research on public health pests and IPM in the built environment and in American Indian Communities to reduce health threats from disease vectors and pests of public health concern.
