Webinar Description: With the holiday season and winter break coming up, it is important to refresh your knowledge on bed bug biology and management and create your own battle plan. In this webinar, we will talk about this troublesome pest and share practical tips for Pest Management Professionals. It will include a brief introduction of what bed bugs are, their biology and health risks, and early detection of the potential hotspots in a home. Finally, the discussion will pertain to an integrated approach for management of bed bugs, including non-chemical control tactics and chemical controls.

Dr. Lucy Li

Dr. Lucy Li is currently an Associate in Extension of Public Health IPM, Department of Entomology for the University of Arizona. She has a Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in insect molecular biology, but most of her work has been in the area of IPM Extension and outreach. Lucy is currently involved in translational research on public health pests and IPM in the built environment and in American Indian Communities to reduce health threats from disease vectors and pests of public health concern.
